The Real Estate Market

How does this affect the real estate market?
This has caused a disturbance in the real estate market and industry. Consumers and businesses have started to look at property ownership and leasing differently. Real estate pricing and development depend on primarily 2 things where people live and where they work. If people are no longer working in the city, the need to buy closer to the city is no longer a priority.  Employees who work from home may not only change their location, but may be in the market for bigger homes with dedicated office spaces.

Work Space

The most important thing you need to concentrate on is, creating your  “work space”. Having a designated work space is very important to being successful while working from home. An actual office or spare bedroom would be very beneficial, however, even a corner of the room with a desk can do the trick, as long as you treat it like a work space. Once a workspace is set up, making a structured work schedule is extremely important. Be sure to schedule in a break, just like you would have at a normal job. Staying connected with your boss and coworkers plays a key role in your success as well. If you are close to your team, schedule meetings outside of your space or try to have zoom meetings as well. At the end of the day, you have to make a choice that is right for you.  If you are in the market for a new home, CONTACT us, we would love to help you!
